Job Full Description
Express Employment of Baton Rouge is looking for Experienced Automotive Technicians to work in the Baton Rouge area. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to gain long-term employment.
Pay: $18-$20/hour+
FULL TIME 40+ hours per week
JOB DUTIES:
- Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications
- Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive repair shop
- Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required
- Willingness to work a weekend shift based on staffing needs.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Professionalism in complying with all company procedures and policies.
- Hold a valid driver license.
- Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
- This is more than just an oil and lube technician position!
