Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is seeking a Branch Manager for an AC, Refrigeration, and Heating Supply Company. This role oversees branch operations, sales performance, inventory control, and team leadership within a fast‑paced office/industrial warehouse environment.
FULL-TIME | TEMP TO PERM | Schedule: Monday–Friday 7AM-5PM
$39k-$50k BOE
Primary Duties

Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow across sales, warehouse, and customer service functions

Lead and support the inside sales team, assisting customers with HVAC/R product selection and technical questions

Communicate confidently using HVAC, refrigeration, and heating terminology (residential + light commercial)

Manage product lines including units, compressors, coils, furnaces, heat pumps, refrigerants (A2L transitions, EPA rules), controls, thermostats, parts, and accessories

Forecast inventory needs, monitor stock levels, and implement shrink control and loss‑prevention practices

Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient branch environment

Model strong work habits — punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Coach and develop team members; remain open to learning and adapting to the company’s leadership style

Build strong customer relationships and support sales growth initiatives
Requirements

Previous sales or customer service experience required

Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred

Ability to work comfortably in an office/industrial warehouse environment
