Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced DOT Compliance Manager for a Local Baton Rouge, LA Company. This position is ideal for candidates that are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in implementing compliance strategies that reduce the risk and enhance company performance. 

Long-Term Permanent Opportunity!  Schedule: Full‑Time | Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM 

Job Duties: 

• Maintain company wide compliance with FMCSA & DOT Regulations 

• Oversee driver qualification files, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date & electronically maintained
• Oversee DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program, including pre-employment, random, post accident and reasonable suspicion testing
• Proper & timely MVR, PSP & Clearinghouse BG Checks 
• Maintain accurate unit/vehicle files including, annual inspections, resignations, titles & maintenance records
• Develop, implement & maintain safety programs for CDL & non CDDL drivers. Ensure compliance HOS & ELD monitoring & driver log auditing

Requirements

• 3-5 Years experience of DOT or Safety compliance management is highly preferred
• Deep knowledge of FMCSA regulations & DOT Compliance
• Strong understanding of ELD systems & Telematics 
• Previous Safety/Supervisory background or transferable skills
