⚡ Electrician Needed | Baton Rouge, LA ⚡
Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is partnering with a commercial electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. This position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial construction projects while working alongside a skilled team to complete projects safely and on schedule.
Pay: $21.00–$24.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Primary Duties
- Install conduit, wiring, and lighting systems
- Pull wire and terminate electrical connections
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
- Install commercial electrical systems according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Bend and install conduit
- Assist apprentices and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow NEC standards and all job site safety requirements
- Support project completion while maintaining quality workmanship
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Healthcare construction experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with conduit bending and installation
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
