Job Full Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper with a background in commercial or construction accounting. The ideal candidate will have multi-year experience handling AP/AR, certified payroll, and vendor management, and be proficient in QuickBooks.
Commerical construction bookkeeping experience is a requirement to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare certified payroll
- Process weekly payroll (every Wednesday)
- Maintain vendor records and process payments
- Prepare for year-end closing
- Perform data entry as needed
- Work closely with accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial and/or construction accounting/bookkeeping
- Proficient in QuickBooks Pro (Required)
- Notary Public (preferred)
- Knowledge of certified payroll
- Multi-year experience in bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
