Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to join their team, supporting construction and development projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll be the key liaison between internal teams and external contractors, ensuring that all project-related documents — including contracts, subcontracts, change orders, permits, and insurance — are handled accurately and efficiently. You’ll also be involved in job cost tracking using Yardi, and help keep projects moving smoothly by managing documentation, compliance, and close-out procedures.

Candidates must have real estate/construction contract experience 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Draft, route, and manage various agreements (vendor contracts, subcontracts, task orders, change orders, etc.) using DocuSign.
  • Collect and verify Certificates of Insurance (COIs), ensuring all required endorsements are in place and correctly entered into Yardi.
  • Maintain and update lien waiver logs.
  • Collaborate with contractors and project teams to process payments, enter invoices into the job cost system, and assist with reporting.
  • Monitor contract and invoice compliance, including educating vendors on internal procedures and AIA documentation standards.
  • Support the close-out process for construction projects — including final payments, retention release, and resolution of change orders.
  • Ensure vendors and consultants meet insurance requirements; coordinate closely with the project manager to maintain compliance.
  • Assist with project budgeting and forecasting using the Yardi system.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting real estate development or construction projects; owner’s rep experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and documentation processes.
  • Strong budgeting and cost-tracking skills; experience working in a job cost environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with MS Project is a bonus.
  • Previous experience with Yardi Voyager is highly desirable.
  • Experience with DocuSign preferred.
