We’re looking for a detail‑driven Construction Estimator to support a growing project pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, communicates clearly, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced construction environment. Roofing experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate with strong estimating or construction knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations
- Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details
- Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and budget estimates
- Track project costs and update estimates as needed
- Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and supporting documentation
- Assist with value‑engineering options and cost‑saving recommendations
Qualifications
- Experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a related field
- Roofing knowledge preferred but not required
- Strong math, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Proficiency with estimating software or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
