Job Full Description
We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Floral Designer to join our client's team in Frederick, MD. The ideal candidate has a passion for floral design, an eye for color and detail, and enjoys bringing customers’ visions to life for everyday arrangements and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and arrange fresh and artificial floral arrangements for occasions such as birthdays, weddings, funerals, holidays, and special events
- Assist customers with flower selection and provide design recommendations
- Maintain freshness and quality of flowers and greenery
- Process floral orders accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace
- Handle inventory, unpack shipments, and properly care for flowers
- Support event setup and breakdown as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a floral designer or in a flower shop preferred
- Knowledge of floral varieties, care techniques, and design styles
- Strong creativity and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Availability for weekends and holidays, especially during peak seasons
