Job Full Description
We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Shop Associate to join our client's graphics, printing, and vinyl department. This is an apprentice‑style role designed for someone eager to learn about the sign industry from the ground up. You will gain exposure to the full sign production process while supporting daily shop operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is interested in growing a long‑term career in sign fabrication and graphics.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with printing, laminating, cutting, weeding, and applying vinyl graphics

Support production of signs, decals, banners, window graphics, and related products

Pre‑production tasks such as material prep, file setup assistance, and quality checks

Operate and maintain printers, plotters, laminators, and basic shop tools (training provided)

Help with mounting, trimming, and finishing signs

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Learn shop workflows, materials, and industry best practices

Assist other departments as needed to gain a broader understanding of the sign shop

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed
