Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a dependable Press Operator for a well-established company in Frederick, MD.
This is a hands-on production position ideal for someone who is comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment. The Press Operator will assist with operating and monitoring production equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor press and production equipment
- Set up and prepare equipment for production runs
- Load materials and supplies into machinery as needed
- Monitor production to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies
- Make basic adjustments to equipment as needed
- Follow production schedules and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous machine operating, press operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around industrial equipment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility with scheduling based on production needs
