Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Labor / Production Associates for a local manufacturing company in Frederick, MD.
We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals with hands-on experience in general labor, manufacturing, construction, assembly, or production. Ideal candidates are comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with production, fabrication, and assembly of materials and finished products.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare materials according to instructions.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the work area.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy and workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Work with team members to complete projects and meet production deadlines.
- Perform additional general labor and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, manufacturing, construction, assembly, or production preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools strongly preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Dependable attendance and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with possible extended hours depending on workload
- Location: Frederick, Maryland
