Warehouse Clerk – Production & Shipping/Receiving
Location: Hunt Valley
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:15-4
Pay: $21
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by working across both the Production and Shipping & Receiving departments. This role assists with product preparation, inventory handling, and the accurate movement of materials to ensure efficient production flow and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support
- Assist with product assembly, packaging, labeling, or kitting as required
- Supply production lines with materials and components
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Follow production schedules and work instructions
- Maintain clean and organized production work areas
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Record inventory transactions accurately in tracking systems
- Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
- Stage completed products for shipment
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Organize and store materials in designated locations
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, production, or shipping/receiving experience a plus
- Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and shipping labels
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
