POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to support our daily route operations. In this role, you will drive a company cargo van or box truck (under 26,001 lbs GVWR) to pick up and deliver laundered linens, uniforms, and textile products to our commercial customers — including restaurants, salons, medical offices, hotels, and more. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in route delivery with room to grow into a CDL driving role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a company light box truck over an assigned multi-stop delivery route.
- Deliver clean linen, uniforms, and laundry goods to customer locations on time and in good condition.
- Collect soiled linen and laundry for return to the processing facility.
- Count and verify product quantities against route sheets and invoices at each stop.
- Obtain customer signatures and note any service discrepancies, damages, or complaints.
- Represent our client professionally at every customer interaction.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical concerns to the supervisor.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and free of damage.
- Assist with loading and unloading laundry carts, bags, and hampers safely.
- Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, and hygiene/sanitation protocols.
- Respond to route adjustments, add-on stops, or urgent pickups as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull loaded laundry carts.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory at each stop.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Previous route delivery, logistics, or customer service experience.
- Familiarity with local streets and commercial districts in the service area.
- Experience operating cargo vans, sprinter vans, or small box trucks.
- Interest in obtaining a CDL for future advancement opportunities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE
- Early morning shifts; typical start time between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
- Monday through Saturday; part-time and full-time schedules available.
- Work includes indoor stops (hotels, restaurants, clinics) and loading dock environments.
- Physical role with regular lifting, pushing carts, and walking between stops.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions throughout the route.
