Employment Type: Temporary / One-Two Day Assignment
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for a one-two day event labor assignment in Abingdon, MD. Workers will assist with the unloading, transport, setup, and cleanup associated with an event delivery. This is a physical, hands-on role requiring the ability to lift and carry boxes repeatedly over the course of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Unload boxes and materials from a delivery truck
- Transport boxes inside the building to a designated room
- Assist with unboxing items and organizing contents as directed
- Support event setup under the direction of site supervisors
- Break down and collect cardboard and packing materials
- Dispose of trash and ensure the work area is clean at the end of the shift
Requirements
- Must Be Able To Pass Pre-Employment Background Check
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Must be punctual and arrive ready to work by 8:00 AM
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes appropriate for physical labor
- No prior experience required – on-site direction will be provided
