Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Binder/Operator to join our dynamic team at a premium quality digital and offset printing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining binding machinery to ensure the production of high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a commitment to safety and quality. Candidates should be dressed for an office role.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain Binder machine, taking printed sheets of paper and feeding it into the machine for finishing
- Follow instructions to ensure products meet specifications.
- Adjust equipment when necessary
- Use hand tools to perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and implement solutions.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Assist with machining and other manufacturing processes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- Mechanically Inclined.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Experience with hand tools and machining processes.
- Ability to read a ruler.
- Ability to meet production deadlines.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
