Express Employment Professionals of Kalamazoo is assisting a Galesburg client staff a Order Picker
Pay: $17-19/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:00pm
Responsibilities
- Reads and reviews parts picklists.
- Loads and labels parts from picklists onto job carts.
- Conducts quality control checks on picked parts.
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
- Maintains organization of aluminum parts storage.
- Communicates part shortages to leadership.
- Tracks and delivers short parts to picked jobs.
- Routes carts with picked jobs to forming machines and powder coat cell.
- Verifies specifications of picked parts by measuring completed component.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Qualifications
- Previous material handling experience
- Mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to problem solve and understand labels and written instructions.
- Lifting requirements up to 50lbs, must be able to bend, twist and reach.
- Safety management mindset.
- Focus on quality control.
