Express Employment Professionals of Kalamazoo is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join a company in the Kalamazoo/Portage area. In this position, you will troubleshoot and conduct repairs.
Pay Rate: $28-$33/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)
Position Type: Contract to hire
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform PMs.
- Perform electrical/mechanical maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and conduct repairs.
- Provide technical support for all phases of equipment and system validation.
- Assembles, repairs and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
- Reviews electrical drawings associated with new equipment procurement.
- Use basic hand tools.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
- Electrical experience and knowledge of 3-phase motors is required.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
- PLC experience a plus.
- Motivated and dependable
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced environment
