About the Company
Express is hiring for a manufacturing company in the Sturgis area. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire role.
SHIFT:
- First Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm; M-Th with occasional Fridays.
ROLE TYPE:
PAY: $28-$30/hr
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Operations Supervisor will lead a team responsible for fabrication and assembly. This includes:
- Supervising and directing activities in a complex fabrication environment.
- Monitoring, evaluating, coaching and correcting employee performance and behavior as necessary.
- Assuring proper training and promotes a safety first culture.
- May need to occasionally run a Turret Punch, Brake Press or similar.
- Jumping in to help troubleshoot production issues.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ yrs of production supervision experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
- Experience in a welding/fabrication shop.
- Experience running a Turret Punch, Brake Press and/or TIG welding.
