Paint Line Operator
Location: Cassopolis, MI
Hourly Pay: $18/hr
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am rotating days off, every Sunday off. 2 days off per week. OVERTIME AVAILABLE

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Paint Line Operator to join our 2nd shift team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring paint/finishing line processes, ensuring parts are coated to company standards, and supporting production goals. The operator will work closely with the Paint Line Supervisor and team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate paint/finish line equipment, including loading, unloading, and monitoring parts during the coating process.
- Prepare parts for finishing, ensuring correct setup and placement.
- Inspect finished parts for quality standards such as adhesion, coverage, and finish consistency.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
- Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of paint line equipment.
- Accurately complete production logs and quality check documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by reporting issues and suggesting process improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the Paint Line Supervisor and other team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or finishing environment preferred (paint line, powder coating, or related experience a plus).
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals, machinery, and production equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in a team environment.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts with rotating days off.
