Job Full Description
Job Title: Custodian / Facilities Support
The Custodian/Facilities Support role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment across office, conference, engineering, shop floor, and outdoor areas. This position requires attention to detail, consistent execution of cleaning standards, and the ability to support various projects as needed to ensure the overall functionality and cleanliness of the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Duties will include cleaning offices, restrooms, cafeteria, and manufacturing areas using various tools, equipment and chemicals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- You will need a valid Driver License and the ability to get between our facilities (we do provide mileage reimbursement).
Additional Duties:
- Support Simulation Engineering/Assembly area cleaning as assigned.
- Perform seasonal or deep-cleaning projects (e.g., carpet shampooing, window cleaning).
- Assist facilities team with event setups, furniture moving, and other special projects.
- Assist with basic outdoor upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and professional appearance of the property
- Other duties as assigned to support the cleanliness, safety, and operational needs of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Prior custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, stretch, and perform repetitive movements.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in both office and industrial shop floor environments, as well as outdoors for groundskeeping. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in certain areas.
Shift:
- Flexible Monday – Friday, 15-20 Hours a week
