Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Staff member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our church community in St. Joseph, MI. This role offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize church facilities including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as needed
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles
- Set up or clean up rooms for services, meetings, or events as needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Ensure building areas are secure during assigned shifts
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing
