Inside Sales Representative (Industrial Distributor)
Location: Onsite – St. Joseph, MI
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $25–$28 per hour (DOE)
Job Overview
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join a well-established and growing industrial distribution company in St. Joseph, MI. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and supporting sales operations in a technical or industrial environment.
You’ll work directly with purchasing and maintenance departments, helping customers identify products, prepare quotes, and ensure orders are processed smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via phone and email
- Work with purchasing and industrial maintenance departments
- Research products and recommend solutions based on customer needs
- Build and manage quotes
- Enter and process customer orders accurately
- Assist with purchasing activities and vendor coordination
- Manage order logistics and delivery follow-ups
- Provide ongoing customer support and follow-up
Qualifications
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and order/quote systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in industrial products
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, or industrial distribution
- Familiarity with mechanical, maintenance, or industrial supply products
