Location: Stevensville, MI
Pay: $22.00/hour
A well-established manufacturing company in the Stevensville area is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL or Chauffeur Licensed Driver to join their team. This position plays a key role in supporting production and logistics operations through local and regional deliveries, material handling, and transportation support.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport materials, products, and equipment to designated locations.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain delivery documentation and logs.
- Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations.
- Assist with warehouse and shipping/receiving activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL or Chauffeur License required.
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Schedule
- Flexible work hours based on business needs.
- Occasional Saturday work required.
- Approximately 1–2 overnight trips per month.
- Primarily local and regional driving routes.
