General Labor Painting Helper
Location: based in St. Joseph, MI
Pay: From $15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of a local painting company in St. Joseph, MI that is looking for dependable General Labor Painting Helpers to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a crew. Previous painting, construction, or general labor experience is preferred.
Responsibilities

Prepare job sites for painting

Tape and mask surfaces and work areas

Set up tarps, drop cloths, and other protective coverings

Assist with job site setup and cleanup

Carry, position, and assist with ladders

Help move tools, materials, and equipment

Assist painters with supplies and general tasks throughout the day

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Perform additional general labor and painting preparation duties as needed
Qualifications

Previous painting, construction, or general labor experience preferred

Valid driver's license required

Reliable transportation required

Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance

Comfortable working with and around ladders

Able to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday

Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
