Auto Glass Installer/Glazer - Grand Rapids, MN
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a full-time Glazer (Automotive Glass Installer) on behalf of a reputable company in Grand Rapids, MN. This union position offers $30/hour pay and comes with full union benefits after a successful probationary period. The role’s primary focus is on automotive window installation and repair – such as replacing windshields and car windows – which requires precise measurements and the use of specialized cutting tools. Key Responsibilities
- Install and replace auto glass (windshields, side/rear windows)
- Take accurate measurements and cut glass to spec
- Use cutting tools, suction lifters, and power tools
- Apply adhesives/sealants and ensure clean, secure installations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in glass handling, auto glass, or related trades preferred
- Comfortable with measuring and using hand/power tools
- Physically able to lift and maneuver large glass pieces
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Training provided for motivated, mechanically inclined candidates
