Express Employment Professionals has several upcoming HR openings that we will be hiring for between now 06/30/25 and September of this year. 

Direct-hire options: **lead HR for a local private company **or launch your career in a government office doing HR + AR/AP—both Monday-Friday with full benefits.

What You’ll Do (Depending on Role)

  • Private HR Manager
    • Full-cycle recruiting & onboarding • HRIS/payroll administration • Employee relations & policy development • Compliance reporting to GM/leadership

  • Gov’t Entry-Level HR/AR-AP Specialist
    • Process bi-weekly payroll changes, benefits enrollments, and timecards • Prepare and post AR/AP invoices, reconcile ledgers • Maintain personnel files, assist with civil-service postings • Support HR Director with union data and training logs

Must-Haves

  • For HR Manager (Private)

    • 1 + yr clerical, payroll, or accounting exposure • hands-on AR/AP or bookkeeping experience • comfort with HRIS or accounting software

  • Friendly, professional communication style & high attention to detail (both roles).

Nice-to-Haves

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/-SCP certification (private role).

  • Public-sector or union exposure (gov’t role).

  • Advanced Excel pivot/table skills.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, standard office hours (exact window varies by client).
