Now Hiring: CDL Driver – Grand Rapids, MN
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and customer-focused CDL Driver for a well-established company in Grand Rapids, MN. This is a local, home every night position and includes interacting with customers, unloading the truck, and working for a company that values professionalism and quality service.
Starting wage for Class B CDL is $19.00/hour and Class A CDL is $20.00/hour.
Schedule & Route Information:
- Start times vary; all routes typically leave by 6:00 AM
- Routes run approximately 10–12 hours per day
- Deliveries are to retail outlet stores and involve using a 2-wheel dolly down a ramp into stores
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles to deliver pre-sold products to customers
- Unload products, stock shelves, and ensure product displays are neat and organized
- Provide friendly, professional customer service — answer questions and build rapport with store staff
- Perform basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance on commercial vehicles
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class A or B CDL and a clean driving record
- Basic mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to lift, push, and pull product using a dolly and work on your feet for extended periods
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
