Process Technician
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join a local manufacturer with an immediate opening! This is a great short-term opportunity to put your technical skills to work in a modern production environment as this company utilizes the latest technology and production equipment.
This is a full time, temporary position lasting through November with an opening on third shift: 11pm - 7am. Starting wage is $22-24/hour, based on experience.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Effectively start up, shutdown, and changeover extrusion lines
- Performs machine set ups and regulate temperature, volume, pressure, and time settings to mold plastic materials
- Review each process for optimization and associated documentation of actual process data
- Troubleshoot molding defects/causes and remedy any issue using a systematic approach to process changes
- Works independently, efficiently manages time, and uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
What we need from you:
- 1 year or more related job experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to effectively perform all basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.)
- Ability to effectively read, interpret and communicate industry and customer specific documentation
