Mechanical Technician
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a Mechanical Technician role in the Grand Rapids area. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and keeping equipment in top shape.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Safely lift and move heavy parts or equipment
- Provide excellent service while working efficiently in a team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Previous experience in automotive, equipment, or related mechanical field preferred
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to bring your own tools (preferred)
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (with some overtime on Saturdays)
- $17.00-$25.00/hour, depending on skills and experience
