Foundry Worker

About the Role
You will play a crucial part in the metal casting process. Working with cutting-edge machinery, witness molten metal being poured into molds, and shape the final castings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working directly in the metal casting process
- Handling and finishing cooled castings
- Using tools and equipment to grind, cut, and clean parts
- Performing basic math and measurements to ensure accuracy
- Inspecting parts to meet quality and safety standards
- Lifting, moving, and working on your feet throughout the shift
- Following all safety procedures in a hot industrial environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in construction or manual labor would be a golden ticket.
- Strong basic math skills (measurements, counting, calculations)
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and demanding labor
- We are looking for folks who show up ready to conquer the day with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass:
- Drug screen
- 5-year background check
- Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
Pay & Union Benefits:
- $26.00/hour starting wage
- After 60 working days (probationary period):
- Union pay increases
