TAX PREPARER - Experienced
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Preparer to join a busy and growing office in the Duluth, MN area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, helping clients, and being part of a professional office environment.
This position is long-term and year-round, with a Monday through Friday schedule. Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and small business tax returns
- Review financial records, income statements, and deductions
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Communicate with clients to gather needed information
- Answer basic tax-related questions and provide support
- Maintain organized and confidential files
- Assist with other accounting or office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous tax preparation or accounting experience
- Knowledge of tax laws, forms, and filing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills (tax software and Microsoft Office)
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
