CONTROLLER
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established local company to find an experienced Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations. This is a key leadership role for a detail-oriented and strategic accounting professional who enjoys working closely with company leadership to support sound business decisions and long-term growth.
Salary range is $75k - $90k per year, based on proven experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in accounting or finance leadership (Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar role)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management
- CPA credentials strongly preferred
- Experience working with external auditors and year-end processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Supervise and support accounting and finance staff
- Manage daily accounting transactions and overall financial operations
- Develop strategic financial plans and prepare the annual budget
- Prepare and review financial statements and internal reports
- Coordinate external auditor activity, including fiscal year-end
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to company leadership
- Monitor financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Manage daily cash flow and cash positioning
