Equipment Operator
$20 - $30/hour, BOE
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an Equipment Operator for a local company looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual who enjoys working outdoors and operating a variety of equipment. This is a hands-on position with changing responsibilities throughout the year, making it a good fit for someone who likes variety and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
What You'll Do
- Operate tractors, tracked equipment, hydroseeders, and other machinery
- Perform routine lawn and property maintenance
- Assist with seasonal cleanup and vegetation control at customer sites
- Operate equipment safely and follow established safety procedures
- Help identify basic equipment issues; mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Assist with cutting and baling hay at multiple locations
- Operate or assist with discbines, hay rakes, balers, and related agricultural equipment
- Perform additional outdoor and equipment-related work based on customer needs
What We're Looking For
- Previous equipment operation, farming, landscaping, construction, or similar hands-on experience preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace and equipment safety
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills are helpful
- Agricultural or haying equipment experience is a plus
- Dependable and willing to work additional hours during busy periods
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
