Express Employment Professionals is partnering with one of our international manufacturing clients in St. Paul/Shoreview area to help hire multiple temp to hire Electronic Assemblers with microscope and soldering experience for their 1st shift.

Advanced Manufacturing Assembler Level 3
This job builds assigned instruments or components and requires some experience with soldering, working under microscopes, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Under general supervision, the General Assemblers may be assigned to perform mechanical assembly, sensor mounting, calibration, packaging, building new instruments from specifications. They must be willing and able to perform a variety of duties (rotate) within the assigned production areas (cells) as required.
Medical Assembler Duties:
- Develop, document and test production assembly procedures for new products
- Translate procedures in to Visual Factory and/or MS Visio format
- Perform assembly duties in other areas and cells as needed.
- Develop, document and test assembly sequence of events
- Demonstrated ability to work from approved drawings and procedures.
- Audit configuration control for new products
- Utilize SAP to ensure component availability and proper production bin setup
- Perform highly complex assembly of engineering prototypes
- Serve as an assembly lead on new product development teams.
- Proficient at reading instructions and procedures.
- General working knowledge of measuring devices and test equipment.
Medical Assembler Duties:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ year of related production/manufacturing experience
- 5+ year of soldering experience
- 5+ year of microscope experience
- SAP or other ERP system experience is desired
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
