Job Full Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Admin Support professional to be the backbone of our flooring showroom and office operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys staying organized, and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and always thinking one step ahead. The right candidate is eager to learn, from new software systems to sales processes and the flooring industry and takes ownership of their work with a strong sense of responsibility and follow-through.
Responsibilities
· Answer incoming phone calls and check voicemail regularly
· Greet customers, vendors and anybody else who comes into the shop, assist as needed
· Create Work order for jobs
· Keep price books up to date
· Maintain showroom cleanliness
· Pre-installation confirmation phone calls to customers
· Follow up with customers to ensure job satisfaction
· Coordinate deliveries
· Run credit card payments
· Apply payments to customer account
· Enter invoices into the bookkeeping system
· Help out with anything else asked
· Maintain office supply inventory
· Order job materials
· Administer inventory to ensure it is always updated
Requirements
· Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Basic accounting skills (A/P and A/R)
· Critical thinker, must be able to always be thinking one step ahead
· Self-motivated
· Strong work ethic
· High school diploma
· Strong organization skills
· Time management skills
· Exceptional communication skills
