Department: Global Customer Service

Reports To: Supervisor/Manager of Customer Service

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is an entry-level position designed to provide foundational experience in customer service operations. This role supports the Customer Service and Technical Support teams by assisting with basic customer inquiries, order entry, and administrative tasks. The CSR will receive training and mentorship to prepare for advancement into either the Customer Service Representative I or Technical Service Representative I roles.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist with answering incoming customer calls and emails under supervision.

·         Support order entry and data maintenance in ERP and CRM systems.

·         Help resolve basic customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and documentation.

·         Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate customer communication.

·         Maintain accurate customer records and assist with data entry tasks.

·         Participate in training sessions to develop product and system knowledge.

·         Escalate complex issues to senior team members or supervisors as needed.

·         Support the team with administrative tasks and special projects.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in customer service or technical support.

·         0–1 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry.

·         Willingness to learn and grow within a customer service environment.

·         Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.

Growth Opportunities

This role is designed as a stepping stone to more advanced positions within the Customer Service and Technical Support teams. Successful CSRs may be promoted to Customer Service Representative I or Technical Service Representative I roles based on performance, skill development, and business needs.
