We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator with hands-on experience operating Amada or Cincinnati press brakes. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brake equipment to fabricate precision metal parts while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.
Schedules Available:
Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm
Monday - Thursday; 5:00am - 3:30pm
Monday - Thursday: 2:15pm - 12:45am
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate Amada and Cincinnati press brake machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Select appropriate tooling and perform accurate machine setups
- Form metal parts to tight tolerances and quality specifications
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Make machine adjustments to maintain part accuracy and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Work closely with supervisors, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals
- Accurately complete production and inspection documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of press brake operating experience
- Proven experience with Amada and Cincinnati press brakes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of metal forming processes and materials
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Amada or Cincinnati Machine Operating experience
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of tooling selection and bend allowances
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
