Client Company in Hopkins has immediate need for Temp-to-Hire Shipping and Receiving Candidate:
Tuesday-Friday
5:am-3:30pm
$22+
The Material Handler is expected to move the plant’s raw material and finished goods from receipt through shipment. The material handler plays a key role in maintaining the housekeeping of the plant and is primarily responsible for the housekeeping of the warehouse.
Primary Position Objectives:
Performs all shipping functions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Staging and/or setting up loads as required
- Loading trucks accurately to Bill of Lading
- Identifying damaged goods and preventing shipment
- Correctly completing required shipping documentation
Performs all receiving functions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Unloading received materials
- Verification of received materials (correct item and quantity)
- Correctly completing required receiving documentation
- Labeling received material with BMS RM number
- Moving received material to appropriate location
Requirements:
- Manufacturing and warehouse experience preferred.
- Capable of reading, writing and performing basic math.
- Sit-down forklift experience
