Temp-to-Hire Facilities / Janitorial / Event Set Up
Minneapolis
Hours: Weekdays 12:30pm-9pm & Weekends 9:30am-6pm
$19-20/ Hr
Religious facility in Minneapolis is looking for a Facilities Attendant who is responsible for event sent up, light building maintenance and routine cleaning.
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- General janitorial work
- Frequently set up/take down tables, chairs, and misc. items
Details:
- Uniforms provided
- Work in the production room during events/ceremonies
- Able to do light maintenance in the buildings
- Able to run an auto scrubber to clean floors
- Responsible for routine cleaning, general building maintenance, and event setups.
Qualifications:
- The skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience in building cleaning and maintenance work
- Ability to understand how A/V and videoconferencing systems function, and how to diagnose and resolve problems within those systems
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Ability to relate to congregants, staff and visitors in a courteous manner
- Some experience in custodial/maintenance work
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 50 pounds, with repetitive bending, reaching, and twisting
