Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and facility systems across the production and fabrication areas. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, handle equipment repairs, and use Epicor ERP to track tasks and update records.
Schedule Options
1st Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00am-3:30pm
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm
2nd Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 2:15pm-12:45am
Pay
- $26.50-$29.83/hour, based on experience
- Weekly paychecks every Friday
Location and Work Environment
- New Dayton, MN facility
- Clean working environment
- Option to wear one earbud on the production floor
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, fabrication equipment, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs promptly
- Log work orders and updates in Epicor ERP
- Assist with machinery installation or relocation
- Maintain and repair facility utilities such as lighting, HVAC, and plumbing
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns
- Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts
- Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout
- Support continuous improvement and keep work areas organized
- Perform minor building repairs and basic welding or fabrication when needed
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized service
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to corrective action planning
Skills and Qualifications
- 0-3 years of related experience OR training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with CNC equipment, powder coating systems, or welding stations (preferred)
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience using Epicor ERP (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma OR equivalent (required)
