These interviews and faility tours are for production positions, and tours start promptly at 1:00pm.

Weekly Orientations

Our Onsite Recruiters Charity and Brittany offer first day orientations at both the Champlin and Dayton, MN facilities every Monday. 

While orientation covers important topics like PPE and payroll, and it also provides us with the unique opportunity to share more about the history of Forgent with new Associates. Comprised of over 100 years of experience, Forgent is able to deliver unique solutions from multiple manufacturing facilities from California to Maryland!

Orientation also covers the products created at the Champlin and Dayton locations and the impact these products have on Forgent's clients, providing Associates with an idea of the components they'll be working with on a daily basis.

Following morning orientation, Associates have the opportunity to start working in their new role the first day on the job!

Training Dojo

While orientation may start with our Onsite Recruiters in the conference room, our goal is to get every employee out on the production floor for their first day at Forgent Power Solutions!

The pride of Forgent's training program is the unique Training Dojo. This tool came to life thanks to the help of tenured employees who wanted to create an immersive training experience for those new to the job.

Starting out in the Training Dojo involves working with an experienced team member who is there to show you the basic knowledge of switchgear assembly to understand the processes and programs we use on a daily basis on the production floor.

After Training Dojo program completion, employees are able to implement their newfound knowledge into their production roles.
