Job Title: Order Entry Specialist
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Pay Schedule: Weekly Job Type: Full-time 8-hr shift (8:00AM-5:00PM) Monday - Friday Weekend Overtime as needed
DESCRIPTION: The Order Entry Specialist position is focused on accurately entering orders in a fast-paced, high volume team environment in an industrial/manufacturing setting. As part of the Customer Service team, this position will also provide support on the shipping dock while representing the company in a professional, friendly and knowledgeable manner. The successful candidate will be highly energetic and have an employment history that demonstrates reliability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Accurately enters high volume of orders per day • Carefully checks entered orders for accuracy and quality • Engages directly with customers to gather missing information to complete orders • Addresses field questions and inquiries from customers in-person, by phone and/or e-mail • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping confidential information • Provides backup support on shipping dock for UPS and FEDEX outbound shipping • Supports with administrative duties and other tasks as needed • Performs all other tasks as required by management REQUIRED SKILLS: • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. • Upbeat, energetic and positive attitude • Strong attention to details and accuracy of work • Strong sense of urgency • Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change • Ability to function independently while working well within a team environment • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization in support of company objectives
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: General computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) Typing: 45 wpm minimum and 10 key Ability to successfully pass background check At least a high school diploma
