Warehouse Manager – Flooring Company (St. Paul, MN)

 

Pay: $30–$35/hr |

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (occasional weekends)

 

Join a respected 4th-generation, 90-year-old flooring company serving both residential and commercial clients across the Twin Cities. We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who can keep operations running smoothly—from inventory management to installation scheduling.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory control, order preparation, and loading/unloading of materials.
  • Schedule and coordinate installation jobs, ensuring materials and crews are ready for each project.
  • Cut and stage materials according to work orders.
  • Assist with tear-outs and job site prep when needed.
  • Organize pick tickets and ensure timely delivery of materials to installers and customers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Use computer systems for scheduling, inventory tracking, and order management.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the flooring industry or as a handyman/tradesperson strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Computer savvy; able to use scheduling and inventory software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to lift flooring materials and perform physical work as needed.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
