Job Summary:
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the organization is adequately staffed by coordinating the scheduling, hiring, and placement of employees. This role works closely with HR, department managers, and candidates in a manufacturing facility to ensure efficient staffing practices that support business operations and promote employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop staffing plans

Screen applications, communicate with staffing agencies and schedule interviews

Maintain staffing schedules and manage shift coverage, ensuring adequate personnel for all shifts

Coordinate onboarding processes, including orientation and training schedules

Track employee availability, vacation requests, and absences to minimize disruptions

Communicate with temporary staffing agencies or external recruiters as needed

Maintain accurate records of employee placement, assignments, and schedules

Provide reports on staffing metrics and trends to management

Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or staffing issues promptly

Support compliance with labor laws and company policies
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred

Proven experience in staffing, scheduling, or HR coordination (1-3 years)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Knowledge of labor laws and best HR practices is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
