Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class D vehicle to deliver produce to customers’ locations (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.).

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of produce orders according to the delivery schedule.

• Load and unload produce deliveries with care, ensuring products are secure and undamaged during transport.

• Verify delivery orders and customer information to ensure accuracy.

• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, handling complaints, and building strong customer relationships.

• Assist with inventory management and restocking of products in delivery vehicles.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.

• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols, including maintaining a clean driving record.

• Document and report any issues or delays to supervisors in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Valid Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading produce.

• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.

• Strong time-management skills and ability to adhere to a schedule.

• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering perishable goods, such as produce or refrigerated items.

• Knowledge of local routes and geography is a plus.

• Forklift certification or experience (not required but a bonus).
