Position Summary:
As our Office Manager / Bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations, managing financial records, and ensuring a well-organized and efficient workplace. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-to-medium business environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in accurate bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks (or other accounting software)
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Support HR functions such as onboarding and benefits coordination
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist leadership as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office manager, bookkeeper, or administrative manager
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
