Job Full Description
Accounting Responsibilities:
· Customer Billing & Collections
· Vendor Purchasing & Payables
· Monthly Account(s) Reconciliations
· Process Bi-Weekly Payrolls
· Produce Month-End Closings, weekly Financial Statements, and cost Analysis reports
· Product Pricing Administration
· Tax Compliance and other necessary accounting functions.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
· Resource Policy & Procedure Management
· Office Administration
· Corporate Record keeping
· Other tasks that may be required to support our staff and business infrastructure
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who can multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision. Candidate must also be highly flexible and able to adjust and expand between areas of responsibility as needed:
· Accurately track inventory of raw materials, finished goods and work in progress making sure real time inventory is available daily
· Manage shipping and receiving of orders and raw materials
· Use inventory metrics to help manage general materials and expenses
· Assist with labor hours and payroll
· Needs experience with Quick Books and Microsoft excel/word
· Strong communication and personal skills
· Location near Pascagoula, MS is optimal
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required – college degree preferred
5+ years experience with fiscal process and office management
