Groundsman - Pascagoula
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Groundsman to support industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will assist with site maintenance, logistics, and general labor tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and cleanup of work sites.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from project areas.
- Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
- Support tradespeople and project teams as needed on site.
- Operate basic equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Follow company procedures for handling waste, debris, and hazardous materials.
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial, construction, or groundskeeping roles preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment handling.
- Must have a clear driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor and industrial/field environments, which may include adverse weather conditions.
- Strict adherence to company health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- May require extended hours or rotating shifts depending on project requirements.
