Job Summary
A growing optical manufacturing and distribution company in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Warehouse Associate. This position is responsible for accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, and daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Label, scan, and track products using inventory management systems
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse
- Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers
- Assist with restocking and inventory replenishment
- Follow company safety policies and quality standards
- Support other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (inventory or shipping software experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
