Travelift Helper - Moss Point, MS
Shift starts at 2am and runs the following hours
- Week one - 8 hrs
- Week two - 10 hrs
- Week three - 12 hrs

Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist Travelift and overhead crane operators with moving precast concrete products throughout the facility.
- Attach, inspect, and remove rigging equipment, including slings, chains, hooks, and lifting devices.
- Guide operators using approved hand signals and communication procedures.
- Help stage, stack, and secure products in designated storage areas.
- Inspect rigging equipment and report damaged or unsafe equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with general yard and production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment.
- Ability to work around heavy machinery and moving loads.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when required.
Preferred
- Previous rigging, construction, manufacturing, or material-handling experience.
- Familiarity with crane signaling and load-handling procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts or working around lifting equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
